Wheelchair Evaluation

Delrey School physical and occupational therapists collaborate with students’ families and rehabilitation equipment technicians for wheelchair and other therapeutic equipment evaluations. After thoroughly evaluating a student’s needs at home and school, therapists make appropriate recommendations based on the evaluation. When the student receives his or her wheelchair, adaptive seating or mobility or positioning equipment, the therapists participate in the fitting sessions. After the fitting, therapists and technicians make final adjustments to ensure optimal comfort and functionality for the individual student.

Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. — Ralph Waldo Emerson
